How to open SBI PDF statement?
The password is a combination of the last 5 digits of your mobile number followed by your Date of Birth in DDMMYY format. For example, if your mobile ends in 12345 and DOB is 01-Jan-1990, the password is 12345010190.
Can I use a converted SBI statement for ITR filing?
Yes. The structured Excel output from StatementConverter is used by individual taxpayers, CAs, and tax consultants to prepare ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-3 returns. The output includes every SBI transaction with date, narration, debit, credit, and running balance — exactly what is needed to identify salary credits, interest income, and business receipts for Schedule BP and Schedule OS entries.
Can an SBI statement be used for a home loan application?
Yes. StatementConverter converts your SBI PDF statement to a structured Excel format commonly accepted by home loan processors at HDFC, LIC Housing, and SBI itself. Lenders use the Excel to verify salary credits, EMI debits, and average monthly balance — the three primary metrics for home loan eligibility assessment under RBI's income documentation guidelines.
Does StatementConverter handle multi-page SBI statements?
Yes. SBI statements spanning multiple pages — common for accounts with high transaction volumes or multi-year history — are processed as a single continuous extraction. StatementConverter's engine identifies page break boundaries and merges transactions seamlessly across all pages, producing a single uninterrupted Excel table with no duplicate header rows.
Does it support SBI savings, current, and NRI account statements?
Yes. StatementConverter handles SBI Savings Account, Current Account, NRE Account, NRO Account, and FCNR Account statements. All account types follow SBI's standard PDF layout with the same column structure — date, description, debit, credit, balance — which the extraction engine processes identically regardless of account type.
Are multi-line narrations in SBI statements handled correctly?
Yes. SBI YONO and NetBanking statements frequently produce long transaction descriptions (such as UPI reference numbers and NEFT beneficiary codes) that wrap across two lines in the PDF. StatementConverter's Smart Cleave algorithm automatically identifies and merges these split narrations into a single Excel cell, preventing fragmented descriptions from appearing as separate phantom transactions.
