Historical Resolution Data
Does StatementConverter support Nationwide mortgage and savings statements?
Yes. StatementConverter handles Nationwide Building Society current account, FlexAccount, FlexDirect, savings account, and annual mortgage statements. Mortgage statements include interest payment rows, capital repayment entries, and balance summaries — all extracted accurately for tax and interest tracking purposes.
Can I use the Nationwide output for HMRC Self-Assessment?
Yes. Nationwide customers who are sole traders or self-employed use the StatementConverter Excel output to support HMRC Self-Assessment SA100 returns. All transaction dates, payee descriptions, and amounts are preserved exactly as they appear in the original Nationwide bank-issued PDF.
Does it support Nationwide FlexOne and student account statements?
Yes. Nationwide FlexOne (student/youth), FlexAccount, FlexDirect, and FlexPlus packaged account statements all use the same core PDF table structure. StatementConverter handles all Nationwide personal account variants with the same extraction accuracy.
Is the output compatible with Xero, FreeAgent, or QuickBooks UK?
Yes. The CSV export from StatementConverter imports directly into Xero, FreeAgent, QuickBooks Online UK, and Sage using each platform's bank import feature. All are HMRC-recognised MTD-compatible platforms. No additional formatting is required before import.
Are Nationwide sort codes and account numbers preserved correctly?
Yes. Nationwide's sort code and account number from the statement header are preserved exactly. StatementConverter's Institutional Float Protection prevents Excel from converting these numeric identifiers to scientific notation — a critical issue when account numbers are used as reference keys in payroll or direct debit reconciliation.
How many years of Nationwide history can I convert?
Nationwide provides up to 7 years of monthly PDF statements via Internet Banking. StatementConverter processes each PDF individually — download and convert statements period by period. There is no limit on the number of conversion sessions.
